Counselling & Psychotherapy
Counselling and Psychotherapy work in much the same way, however, there are differences between the two:
Counselling it's usually when we work on more immediate level generally focusing on current issues that are affecting you, this can be considered more short-term or medium-term in duration.
Psychotherapy means we will work at a deeper level considering aspects of your life past and present and how your upbringing, personality, relationships and trauma has affect you in the here and now, this means that we go delve into patterns of behaviour and explore and restructure your emotional and thought patterns to these issues, Therefore psychotherapy it's usually more longer-term work.
